Job summary

Midland Care Connection is seeking an RN for the Hospice House to provide hands-on, comfort-focused end-of-life care in an inpatient setting. You will assess symptoms, administer medications, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient comfort and family support. This role offers part-time shifts and opportunities for professional growth within a respected community nonprofit in Kansas.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (Kansas)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• Ability to assess patients and manage symptoms
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage symptoms for hospice patients.
• Administer medications and update care plans accordingly.
• Document care provided and coordinate with the hospice team.
• Educate and support families during the care process.
• Maintain patient comfort and dignity in an end-of-life setting.
