Midland Care Connection in Topeka, Kansas, is seeking an RN for inpatient hospice care on a graveyard shift. The role focuses on comfort-focused nursing, symptom management, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to support patients and families.

The ideal candidate has an active Kansas RN license, CPR/BLS, and experience in nursing with a preference for hospice or palliative care. Full-time hours include 7:00pm–7:00am shifts with a strong commitment to compassionate end-of-life care.

Qualifikationen

• Active, unrestricted RN license (Kansas) required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Ability to assess patients and manage symptoms.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Aufgaben

• Provide hands-on, comfort-focused nursing care to hospice inpatients.
• Assess and manage symptoms, administer medications, and update care plans.
• Document care and collaborate with the hospice team (physicians, aides, social workers, chaplains, volunteers).
• Educate and support families during end-of-life care, offering emotional reassurance.
• Ensure patients remain comfortable and dignified during end-of-life care.
