Job summary

Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Nurse to oversee the quality and expert care of assigned patients in a full-time role in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. You will perform patient assessments, develop individualized plans, and coordinate with physicians and IDT members to manage symptoms.

A NJ RN license is required; BSN preferred, and at least two years of nursing experience. Salary ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually based on experience, with benefits including

Qualifications

NJ RN license required; BSN preferred.
Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform patient assessments for comfort and relief of symptoms.
Establish and implement an individualized plan of care for each patient.
Assess the need for patient and family education and provide education as needed.
Obtain appropriate physician orders to achieve symptom management.
Triage and arrange home visit schedule, demonstrating efficiency in time and mile management.
Make referrals to additional IDT members and collaborate with social workers related to their involvement.
