Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice is seeking a part-time RN Hospice Nurse in Mt Laurel, NJ. This role focuses on overseeing the quality and expert care of assigned hospice patients, with an hourly rate of $38.85–$45.05 based on experience.

Responsibilities include assessing patients for comfort, implementing individualized care plans, and coordinating with physicians and IDT members to ensure symptom management. NJ RN license required; BSN preferred; bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
• NJ RN license required; BSN preferred
• Bilingual is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments for comfort and relief of symptoms.
• Establish and implement an individualized plan of care for each patient.
• Assess the need for patient and family education and provide education as needed.
• Obtain appropriate physician orders to achieve symptom management.
• Triage and arrange home visit schedule, demonstrating efficiency in time and mile management.
• Make referrals to additional IDT members and collaborate with social workers related to their involvement.
