Job summary

Southcoast Health at Home is seeking an RN Hospice Baylor to provide care in a home health setting in Fairhaven, MA. The role involves 24-hour shifts with travel to patients’ homes, earning a $6,000 new hire sign-on bonus and working Fridays through Sundays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Minimum one-year hospital medical/surgical or other relevant nursing experience is required.
• Has knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to patient population.

Responsibilities

• Establish the standards of practice for Staff Nurse under supervision.
• Assess and care for patients across varying health problems.
• Collaborate with patients, caregivers and staff to meet wellness and treatment goals.
• Advise on modalities to address patient needs including medications and nutrition.
• Teach and support self-care activities and problem solving.
