Job summary

Bristol Hospice in Honolulu, HI is seeking a PRN RN to provide compassionate, one-on-one patient care in a hospice setting.

You will develop care plans, monitor vitals, and administer treatments with empathy while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and educating families on care techniques. A Hawaii RN license and CPR are required, along with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Hawaii RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, patient-centered care with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient history.
• Deliver one-on-one patient and family support for comfort and dignity.
• Assess physical, emotional, and spiritual needs throughout the care journey.
• Monitor and document vital signs accurately (temp, pulse, resp, BP).
• Administer physician-ordered medications and treatments with empathy.
• Educate patients and families on care techniques and symptom management.
• Track changes in patient condition and respond promptly.
