Job summary

AccentCare Inc. is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our interdisciplinary team in New Jersey. This PRN role offers 1-2 shifts per week, 8am-5pm, with weekend rotation, serving Middlesex, Monmouth and Ocean counties.

You will provide compassionate nursing care focused on comfort and quality of life, collaborate with physicians and caregivers, and participate in on-call rotations. Valid RN license and at least one year of experience required; reliable transportation a must.

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of practice.
At least one year of nursing experience.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and appropriate auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized nursing care that maximizes comfort and quality of life.
Partner with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary group to create and carry out care plans.
Perform comprehensive assessments—physical, emotional, social, and spiritual—to guide care decisions.
Educate and support patients and caregivers, meeting them where they are.
Coordinate care across disciplines to ensure continuity and dignity.
Document care clearly and accurately to reflect patient needs and progress.
Participate in on‑call or admission rotations as needed.
Engage in ongoing learning and professional development.
