Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) in New Jersey to join an interdisciplinary care team. The role offers hourly pay of $45.00–$50.00 based on experience and a schedule of every other weekend (Sat & Sun, 8am–5pm) within Middlesex, Monmouth, and Ocean counties.

You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with physicians and families while maintaining standards of comfort and dignity for hospice patients.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care that maximizes comfort and quality of life.
• Partner with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary group to create and carry out care plans.
• Perform comprehensive assessments—physical, emotional, social, and spiritual—to guide care decisions.
• Educate and support patients and caregivers, meeting them where they are.
• Coordinate care across disciplines to ensure continuity and dignity.
• Document care clearly and accurately to reflect patient needs and progress.
• Participate in on-call or admission rotations as needed.
• Engage in ongoing learning and professional development.
