Job summary

Gentiva is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as an RN Hospice Administrator in Tennessee. This role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for a hospice location, directing interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered, high-quality care while meeting regulatory standards and business goals.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in hospice/home care, strong management experience, and a BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with minimum of Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Three to five years’ healthcare sales/ management experience preferred.
• Minimum one year management/supervisory experience required.
• Two or more years’ experience in hospice/home care required
• Meets all state-specific requirements for the Administrator role.
• Three years’ experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of hospice regulations, compliance, and Medicare conditions of participation
• Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and interdisciplinary operations .
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Commitment to high-quality, compassionate care for patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day hospice location operations and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensures delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Manages regulatory compliance and budgetary performance.
• Collaborates with Governing Body, corporate leadership and referral partners.
• Develops and implements policies to guide services.
• Mentors staff and oversees performance.
