Job summary

You will assess respiratory status, deliver comfort-focused treatments, educate families on equipment and oxygen therapy, and document care.

The role requires a CRT or RRT license, with preferred 1 year RT experience and hospice/palliative care background.

Qualifications

• Current state Respiratory Therapist license (CRT or RRT).
• Minimum 1 year of RT experience preferred.
• Hospice, home health, or palliative care experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status of patients and provide comfort-focused treatments.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory equipment and oxygen therapy.
• Document care and outcomes accurately in patient records.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team to support quality end-of-life care.
