Job summary

Affinity Health Management is seeking a Per Diem Hospice Respiratory Therapist to provide compassionate respiratory care and symptom management for hospice patients across home, facility, and inpatient settings.

You will assess respiratory status, deliver comfort-focused treatments, educate patients and families on equipment and oxygen therapy, document care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team to support quality end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• Current state Respiratory Therapist license (CRT or RRT) is required.
• Minimum 1 year of RT experience preferred.
• Hospice, home health, or palliative care experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status of hospice patients.
• Provide comfort-focused respiratory treatments and symptom management.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory equipment and oxygen therapy.
• Document care activities and patient progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary hospice team to support end-of-life care.
