Job summary

Affinity Health Management is seeking a Per Diem Hospice Respiratory Therapist to provide compassionate respiratory care and symptom management for hospice patients in home, facility, and inpatient settings.

You will assess respiratory status, deliver comfort-focused treatments, educate patients and families on oxygen therapy, document care, and collaborate with the hospice team to support quality end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• Current state Respiratory Therapist license (CRT or RRT)
• Minimum 1 year of RT experience preferred
• Hospice, home health, or palliative care experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care skills

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and provide care for hospice patients
• Deliver comfort-focused respiratory treatments
• Educate patients and families on respiratory equipment and oxygen therapy
• Document care thoroughly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary hospice team to support quality end-of-life care
