Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Critical Care Registered Nurse to deliver expert bedside care in diverse critical care settings across Massachusetts. You will apply the nursing process, monitor patients, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to respond to emergencies.

Travel assignments are available. You must hold an active MA RN license, CCRN preferred, and BLS/ACLS/PALS as required. Benefits include competitive pay and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where you practice.
• One year of critical care experience preferred.
• CCRn certification preferred.
• Current BLS; current ACLS/PALS as per facility requirement.
• Complies with relevant standards of practice.
• Current Health certificate as required by contract or state regulation.
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient condition continuously.
• Manage and evaluate therapeutic measures.
• Apply nursing care plan with multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain running record of patient status.
• Be prepared to perform advanced cardiac life support and other lifesaving measures.

Job description

The Critical Care Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in a variety of critical care settings. The Critical Care Registered Nurse consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care. Responsibilities include assessment, continuous monitoring of patient data, management and evaluation of therapeutic measures application of the nursing care plan in coordination with the multidisciplinary team and maintenance of a running record of the patient’s status. The Critical Care Registered Nurse must be prepared at all times to perform advanced cardiac life support and other lifesaving measures for the patients in their care.

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
• One year of critical care experience is preferred
• CCRN certification preferred
• Current BLS card; current ACLS/PALS card (per facility requirement)
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
