Job summary

AccentCare, Inc. is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team in Washington DC.

This full-time position offers Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, with on-call rotations as needed, and a mission-driven environment focused on comfort and dignity for patients at the end of life. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, develop and carry out individualized care plans, perform comprehensive assessments, educate families, and document patient progress while upholding the highest

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to maximize comfort and quality of life.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and the care team to implement care plans.
• Perform comprehensive assessments across physical, emotional, social, and spiritual domains.
• Educate and support patients and caregivers where they are.
• Coordinate care to ensure continuity and dignity across disciplines.
• Document care clearly reflecting patient needs and progress.
• Participate in on-call or admission rotations as needed.
• Engage in ongoing learning and professional development.
