Qualifications

• Associate degree or five years of healthcare, hospice, or business operations experience.
• Two years of telephone experience; healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel and databases.

Responsibilities

• Handle referrals via phone, fax, email, and ECIN.
• Provide courteous, supportive intake experience to callers.
• Respond to crisis calls and take appropriate action.
• Enter referral data accurately and coordinate with departments.
• Collaborate with scheduling and admin to arrange admissions.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow organizational policies.
• Adapt to workload changes and changes in priority.
• Adhere to NorthStar standards of care.
