Job summary

Korn Ferry partners with a respected hospice company to hire a Hospice Consultant serving the North Shore, Boston, MA area. This strategic sales role builds strong relationships with healthcare referral partners and advances compassionate hospice care with empathy and expertise.

As a brand ambassador, you will educate clinicians and administrators, identify referral opportunities, and lead marketing initiatives to raise awareness of hospice options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year in hospice, home health, business development/referrals.
• Relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs or home health pros preferred.
• Prior experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms.
• Sensitivity to the needs of terminally ill patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Educate and inform stakeholders to ensure appropriate referrals.
• Identify new referral opportunities with hospitals, home health agencies, SNFs, clinics, and offices.
• Engage healthcare professionals about patient needs and hospice benefits.
• Plan marketing initiatives to raise awareness and drive referral growth.
• Represent the organization at events and educational in-services to promote services.
• Advocate for patients and families to clarify hospice options and early referrals.
