Job summary

Mission Healthcare, headquartered with a strong presence across western states, seeks a dynamic healthcare sales professional to grow hospice referrals in the Portland, OR area. You will educate physicians and facilities about hospice services, manage relationships, and drive strategic marketing efforts.

This role offers Mon-Fri 8am-5pm hours, hybrid work, and competitive compensation with on-target earnings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
Minimum 2 years healthcare sales or business development experience.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Strong communication, relationship-building and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs and other referral sources.
Generate hospice referrals by educating healthcare professionals on services and eligibility.
Conduct sales calls, presentations and community education events to promote hospice awareness.
Serve as the primary liaison between referral sources, patients, families and the hospice clinical team.
Identify and respond to referral partner needs, ensuring excellent customer service.
Collaborate with hospice intake and admissions to ensure smooth transitions for new patients.
Maintain records of sales activities, referral trends and market feedback using CRM systems.
Develop and implement marketing plans and monitor resource allocation within budget.
