Job summary

Liberty Hospice is seeking an experienced Hospice Operations Support Technician to join our team in a full-time capacity. The role supports reception, mail management, and daily reporting of visits and supplies.

The position requires a high school diploma and at least two years of general office experience, preferably in healthcare, with strong computer skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of general office experience and data entry experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge of telephone etiquette.
• Ability to communicate clearly, using good grammar.
• Strong computer skills to include working knowledge of most commonly used software programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing receptionist duties.
• Assist in managing incoming and outgoing mail.
• Process and enter daily reports of visits, flow notes, and medical supplies.
• Establish and maintain client medical records in accordance with agency policy and procedure.
• Order, receive, and stock medical supplies and maintain inventory control in accordance with established agency policy and procedure.
• Assist in performing cross-training.
• Implement infection and exposure control measures in accordance with the agency exposure control plan.
• Perform miscellaneous clerical functions in an accurate and timely manner.
