Job summary

University of Tennessee Medical Center Home Care Services in Knoxville, TN seeks a Director of Operations to oversee agency finances, operations, and strategic growth. The role supervises Clinical Manager(s) and leads business development while ensuring compliance with regulations.

You will partner with leadership to meet budgeted goals, improve patient outcomes, and drive performance improvements across clinical and administrative functions.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business or related clinical field is required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Current Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the agency’s compliance with all regulations, laws, policies and procedures.
• Educates staff about state, federal, and accreditation requirements.
• Maintains licensure and accreditation standards compliance.
• Ensures services are billed to the proper payor source.
• Directs weekly business development and management meetings to promote home health services.
• Meets budgeted admission goals with Business Development team.
• Provides input on marketing activities and growth strategies.
• Supervises agency leadership staff and others as appropriate.
