Job summary

Ovation Hospice of Salt Lake is seeking a highly skilled Hospice Administrator to oversee the Salt Lake City area's daily operations, ensuring exceptional patient care and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes strategic leadership, financial oversight, and team development.

You will provide direction across clinical operations, budgeting, and policy implementation, while fostering partnerships with healthcare professionals and community stakeholders to promote the organization's mission.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to providing quality end-of-life care.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospice, preferably in a marketing role.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, compliance requirements, and accreditation standards.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the hospice team, ensuring the highest standards of care are met.
• Oversee and manage all aspects of the hospice program, including clinical operations, financial management, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and review patient care plans.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
• Foster strong relationships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the organization’s mission and enhance referral networks.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging research to drive continuous improvement.
