Job summary

AMEDISYS HOME HEALTH is seeking a non-clinical operations professional to oversee care center operations and support functions in Brenham, TX. You'll work with leadership to ensure efficient hospice operations and compliance with HR, billing, and regulatory requirements.

The role involves coordinating staffing, billing processes, scheduling, and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations and optimize financial performance for the care center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years office or related experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel).
• Knowledge of billing, payroll, personnel management, and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Oversee non-clinical staffing, including hiring, onboarding and performance support.
• Assist with payroll time and mileage discrepancies with Area Financial Specialist.
• Coordinate orientation for new staff and contract staff.
• Ensure HR/Regulatory documentation compliance (I-9, licensure, background checks).
• Support billing processes including prebill audits and adjustments.
• Conduct billing reviews to resolve issues and prevent bill holds.
• Advise on billing procedures and compliance with policies/regulations.
• Participate in IDT meetings and coordinate with central teams.
• Handle scheduling tasks, office logistics, and vendor contracts.
