Job summary

Ascend Hospice in Overland Park, KS is seeking an Assistant Clinical Director to lead nursing operations and ensure clinical excellence. You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Executive Director, supervise staff, and coordinate services according to policies and standards.

This role requires a State Certified RN license, 3+ years in hospice or homecare, and CHPN is a plus. Strong administrative, reporting (QAPI), and communication skills are essential, with a focus on staff

Qualifications

• Must hold a State Certified RN license.
• CHPN certification is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience in hospice or homecare.
• Experience in administration, supervision, and case management.
• Strong written and verbal communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Support intake department.
• Assist with monthly clinical invoices and other managerial duties.
• Provide supervision of nursing staff and ensure policy compliance.
• Coordinate services and reporting (QAPI) as required by policy.
• Collaborate with Director of Nursing and Executive Director to meet standards.
