Job summary

Visiting Nurse Association of Texas (VNA) is hiring a full-time RN Nurse Educator to lead clinical training, onboard clinicians, and ensure high-quality hospice and palliative care across North Texas. Reports to Director of Quality and Education and will mentor field and facility staff, with local travel throughout DFW.

Requires Texas RN license, ADN; BSN preferred; 2+ years hospice/home health experience; proficient in MatrixCare EMR and Relias LMS.

Qualifications

• Texas RN license with CPR certification.
• BSN preferred; ADN required.
• Minimum 2 years RN clinical experience; hospice/home health experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and evaluate clinical learning programs.
• Onboard new clinicians and provide mentorship to field staff.
• Administer LMS (Relias) and collaborate with HR to expand courses.
• Coordinate mandatory inservices, annual competencies, and hands-on labs with the Hospice QAPI team.
• Act as a clinical resource for questions and re-training in the field.
