Job summary

Care Initiatives Hospice is seeking a compassionate RN to join our team as Hospice Nurse - RN - 7D on/7D off. You’ll provide comprehensive end-of-life care in home, long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings, meeting patients and families where they are most comfortable.

This full-time position covers 7 days on and 7 days off, with overnight calls from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM and weekend coverage. You’ll support patients and families, manage comfort-focused medications, and provide

Qualifications

• RN with a minimum of two years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated patience and a supportive and sensitive approach to providing patient, family, and caregiver support.
• Willingness and ability to provide care in facility and patient home settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate end-of-life care and symptom management.
• Support patients and families in their time of greatest need, including weekends and evenings.
• Offer teaching to ensure comfort and dignity during dying, with respect and empathy.
