Ohio’s Hospice in Dayton is seeking a dedicated Hospice Nurse (LPN/RN) for a full-time night shift. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care across homes and facilities within Ohio's Hospice South region, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold LPN or RN licensure in Ohio, CPR certification, and 2+ years of acute care experience, with strong documentation and driving ability. Mileage reimbursement and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• LPN or RN licensure with the state board without actions.
• Two years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Proficient computer/documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care in homes and facilities within Ohio's Hospice South region.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to plan and deliver comfort-focused care.
• Document care actions accurately and maintain patient records.
• Occasional driving between patient sites and shift coverage as needed.

Hospice LPN/RN – Making every moment matter

As a Hospice Nurse, you will play a vital role in enhancing quality of life for patients and supporting families during some of their most important moments. Working alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team, you'll deliver compassionate care that brings comfort, dignity, and peace.

This is a FT night shift position, 7pm-7am Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun. This is a driving position delivering care to patients living in facilities and homes within Ohio's Hospice South region.

Qualifications of this role:

LPN's -Graduate of an accredited nursing school; LPN with the State of Ohio without any board actions; Two years of acute care nursing experience preferred.

RN's - Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio without any board actions. Two years of acute care nursing experience preferred.

• CPR Certified.
• Computer skills are sufficient to properly document services and care.
• Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather.
• Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record.
• State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screen
