Job summary

Ohio's Hospice in Dayton, OH is seeking a part-time night shift LPN to provide compassionate 1:1 bedside care for patients in homes or facilities, under the supervision of an RN. This role requires driving to patients in the Dayton/Springfield area and delivering care during 8pm–8am shifts.

Qualifications include an Ohio LPN license without board actions, CPR certification, at least 1 year of nursing experience, reliable driving, and ability to pass background checks and a 10-panel drug screen.

Qualifications

• Registered LPN with the State of Ohio without any board actions.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• CPR Certified.
• Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care.
• Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather.
• Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record.
• State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screen

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 bedside care for patients at home or in facilities under RN supervision.
• Drive to patients within the Dayton/Springfield area to deliver care.
• Support patients and families during active decline with compassionate nursing care.

Hospice Individualized Care LPN - Making every moment matter

• This is a PT night shift position 8pm-8am and will require DRIVING to patients within the Dayton/Springfield area
• This position will provide 1:1 with the patient at the bedside for patients that are actively declining

As a Hospice Individualized Care LPN you will provide care for patients in families in homes/facilities, under the direction and supervision of an RN.
