Job summary

Roper St. Francis Healthcare seeks a Nurse Educator to direct and coordinate staff development activities, oversee orientation, and ensure training aligns with current standards of care.

The role requires collaboration with Patient Care Coordinators and other departments to deliver ongoing education. The ideal candidate will have RN licensure, a Bachelor of Nursing, and at least 3 years in hospice/home health education or supervisory roles.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Nursing program.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse are required.
• Supervisory/management or clinical education experience in Hospice and/or Home Health is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the agency's staff development activities.
• Oversee orientation program for the agency and support staff proficiency.
• Coordinate with Patient Care Coordinators and other departments for staff education.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and clinical education planning.
• Maintain knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
