Job summary

Mt. Carmel Hospice in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced Hospice Educator (RN) to lead clinical education, orientation, and ongoing training for the hospice team. You will drive onboarding, competency validation, and regulatory compliance while developing staff at all levels.

You’ll collaborate with leadership, quality teams, and educators to align education with patient-centered care and organizational goals across service areas.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Ohio with nursing education background.
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Education Program.
• Strong knowledge of hospice regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and instructional materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead orientation for new clinicians and oversee onboarding.
• Design and implement education programs and competency validation.
• Coordinate informatics and clinical documentation training.
• Partner with schools for student placements and affiliations.
• Develop policies, curricula, and continuing education initiatives.
• Support leadership with quality improvement and education analytics.
