Job summary

AccentCare, Inc. is seeking a Hospice Nurse Practitioner in Grenada, Mississippi. This PRN/part-time role offers pay-per-visit compensation with $135.00 per hour for direct patient care and $35.00 per hour for administrative work.

Travel to all caregiver locations may be required, and CPR certification is preferred. The hospice NP will coordinate with attending physicians and the multidisciplinary team, perform face-to-face assessments, develop plans of care, and ensure continuity of care across

Qualifications

• Graduated from an approved school of professional nursing - Masters degree.
• Current and unencumbered APRN license in state(s) practicing.
• One year of experience as an NP.
• Certified by a nationally recognized advanced nurse practice organization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care with attending physicians, hospice staff and other agencies.
• Monitor patient progress and update care team on discharge planning and teaching.
• Maintain continuity of care with the care team and case manager.
• Prescribe medications as permitted by state regulations.
