Job summary

AccentCare in Gloster, MS is seeking a PRN RN Field Nurse, Home Health to support pediatric through geriatric patients. You will assess nursing needs, follow the patient care plan, and collaborate with CHHAs and CNAs to deliver high-quality home health care.

This role requires current RN licensure in Mississippi, CPR certification, and at least one year of experience; schedule is 1-3 days per week with on-call responsibilities. Compensation is $71,000 to $79,000 annually, paid per point.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current licensure to practice nursing in the state.
• Registered Nurse with minimum (1) year of experience.
• Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess nursing needs of assigned patients and implement the individualized patient care plan.
• Plan, evaluate and revise the care plan as needed.
• Promote and maintain optimal client care; diagnose and treat health problems.
• Make the initial nursing evaluation visit and re-evaluate as required.
• Initiate and revise the plan of care; provide services within the scope of practice.
• Assign, supervise and teach other clinical personnel; issue orders where applicable.
• Initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
• Inform physician and staff of changes in patient condition; counsel patient and family.
