Vivie, based in Fargo, ND, is seeking a Hospice Musician to provide live, individualized musical experiences for patients and families within a 40-mile radius. The part-time role runs 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a 40-hour pay period and travel required.

You will work with interdisciplinary teams to tailor musical experiences that bring joy, dignity, and companionship to patients at end of life, while supporting spiritual and general well-being.

Formación

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with at least one musical instrument is preferred.
• Formal music therapy degree not required; training or demonstrated proficiency is valued.
• Valid driver’s license and insured personal vehicle are required.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver patient-centered music sessions/performances aligned with individual preferences.
• Collaborate with RN Case Managers, social workers, chaplains, and care teams to support well-being.
• Lead and promote music programs, memorial services, and group sing-alongs with facility partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned within hospice ancillary services.
