Job summary

Vivie is seeking a PRN Hospice Musician to provide live, personalized musical experiences for hospice patients and families in the Bismarck area. The role supports dignity, joy, and connection as part of our ancillary services within hospice care.

You will work with interdisciplinary teams to tailor sessions, schedule group events, and participate in memorial services while maintaining compassionate, independent patient care in home or facility settings.

Qualifications

• A degree or certification in music therapy is not required.
• Formal musical training or performance experience preferred.
• Proficiency in at least one instrument encouraged.
• Experience in hospice or healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Patient-Centered Music Sessions/Performances.
• Collaborate with RN Case Managers, social workers, chaplains, and care team members.
• Lead and promote music programs and community sing-alongs and events.
• Other duties as assigned.
