• Audits admission documents for timeliness and completeness.
• Tracks physician signatures on orders and enters dates into the EMR.
• Audits and finalizes medical records within 30 days of discharge.
• Supervises the work of volunteers in the HIM office.
• Keeps medical records organized and secure per HIPAA.
