Job summary

Empath Health seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse for our Pompano Beach Inpatient Care Center. You will work night shifts (3 days, 7pm–7:30am) with weekend availability to provide end-of-life care, coordinate with the IDG, and support families with education and comfort.

Join a mission-driven team delivering Full Life Care. The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS certification, and ideally 1 year of hospice or related nursing experience; EMR skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Florida RN license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of experience in public health, home nursing, oncology, medical/surgical, geriatric, or hospice nursing preferred.
• Understanding of hospice nursing concepts: case management, crisis intervention, education, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient and family care with the physician and interdisciplinary team.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patient and family needs.
• Ensure timely delivery of interventions per the care plan.
• Monitor patient conditions and provide education to enhance comfort and quality of life.
