Job summary

Hospice of Hope, Inc. in Maysville, KY, seeks an Inpatient Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care at our inpatient center. The RN will assess needs, plan and evaluate care, and educate patients and families about services and resources.

Responsibilities include documenting complex medical information, maintaining care quality, and communicating with physicians and staff. The position is a full-time night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am), three shifts per week including weekends.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Use clinical tools and information to complete assessments of patient needs.
• Create, implement and update individualized plan of care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on benefits, services and resources.

• Follow quality care processes per regulatory guidelines and company procedures.
• Maintain strong written and verbal communication with patients, physicians and stakeholders.
• Assess and respond to patient and family needs promptly.
• Maintain basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
