Job summary

St Anthony s Hospice Inc in Henderson, KY is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our inpatient hospice care team across multiple shifts. You will plan, coordinate, provide and document end-of-life care, ensuring comfort, dignity and support for patients and families.

The RN will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, and educate families on disease progression and hospice services while adhering to Medicare Hospice

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
• Previous nursing experience required.
• Hospice, oncology, medical/surgical, critical care, long-term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive physical, psychosocial and nursing assessments for hospice patients.
• Develops, implements, evaluates and updates individualized Plans of Care.
• Administers medications and treatments safely per physician orders and nursing standards.
• Educates patients and caregivers regarding medications, disease progression and hospice services.
• Completes accurate and timely clinical documentation.
