Job summary

Hospice of Hope, Inc. is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse to provide skilled care at our inpatient center in Seaman, Ohio.

The role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for terminally ill patients, with an emphasis on compassionate communication and family education. The position offers a $5,000 signing bonus (paid $2,500 after six months and $2,500 after one year), full-time night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, three shifts per week including weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with RN licensure or eligibility in KY or OH.
• At least one year of patient care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and team members.

Responsibilities

• Use clinical tools, data and other information to complete assessments of patient needs.
• Creates, implements and updates individualized plan of care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on benefits, services and other resources.
• Document complex medical information to outline and improve results.
• Follow quality care processes in compliance with regulatory guidelines and company procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with patients, physicians and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and respond to patient and family needs in a timely manner.
• Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in establishing professional and collaborative relationships with patients, families and providers.
• Full-time night shift, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, three shifts per week, including weekends.
