Job summary

Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced registered nurse to join our dementia inpatient care home. You will educate families, assess pain, manage symptoms, and support patients and caregivers through challenging transitions.

This role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork with an interdisciplinary hospice team, and adherence to high standards of conduct. Prior hospice or oncology experience and dementia knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum one year of recent experience in medical, surgical or critical care as a professional nurse.
• Strong clinical assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solution driven, creative and resourceful problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage time well and perform assigned duties with attention detail, accuracy and follow-through.
