Job summary

Croí Health in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Hospice House Chef to deliver compassionate, patient-centered meal services in our Hingham facility. You will plan menus, prepare meals, and coordinate with clinical teams to meet dietary needs while staying within budget.

Responsibilities include grocery shopping, weekly menu development, weekend meal prep, sanitation, and collaborating with volunteers to support meal service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cooking and kitchen operations.
• Healthcare, hospitality, or residential care experience preferred.
• Strong organization and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare weekday meals per patient dietary instructions.
• Create weekly menus based on patient needs and resources.
• Shop for groceries within budget and minimize waste.
• Coordinate with Volunteer Coordinator for meal support.
• Maintain sanitation and follow food safety protocols.
• Prepare weekend meals by Friday with clear reheating instructions.
• Communicate dietary changes to Hospice House staff.
