Job summary

Broad Reach Hospice is seeking a compassionate, full-time Hospice Aide to provide direct patient care in patients' homes and in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities across the mid and lower Cape.

You will assist with activities of daily living, follow each patient’s plan of care, and document care provided. Regular communication with the nurse case manager is expected to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant License is required.
• Experience with home health or hospice care is preferred, but applicants are welcome regardless of experience.

Broad Reach Hospice is hiring a Full‑Time Hospice Aide, with a $2,500 sign‑on bonus!

In order to meet the needs of our community, we are looking to add a compassionate, caring full‑time Hospice Aide to our team.

Hospice Aide Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care in patients’ homes as well as in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities throughout the mid and lower Cape.
• Assisting with patients’ ADLs (activities of daily living).
• Following patients' plan of care and completing documentation of care given.
• Communicating regularly with nurse case manager.

Hospice Aide Requirements

• Valid Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant License.
• Experience with home health or hospice care is preferred, however, finding the right candidate is most important to us so applicants are welcome to apply regardless of experience.

Hospice Aide Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Occasional availability on Saturday is required.
• Rotating cover on holidays – presently one holiday worked per year.

The pay range for this position is between $20.00 – $27.50 per hour, depending upon number of years of experience.
