Hinds LifeCare, a leading nonprofit hospice and palliative care provider in California’s Central Valley, seeks an experienced RN Float in Fresno. You will join an interdisciplinary team to float between departments and deliver skilled nursing to patients and their families during end-of-life care.

The role emphasizes compassion, adaptability, and collaboration to ensure staffing coverage, admissions, and on-call support across service areas in the Fresno region.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in California and CPR certification.
• One year experience in acute care facility or community health agency; hospice experience a plus.
• Willingness to use personal vehicle for work and maintain valid driver’s license/insurance.

Responsibilities

• Float between hospice departments and care settings to support staffing needs.
• Adapt to varying patient populations, caseloads, and workflow requirements.
• Provide staffing coverage for vacations, leaves, call-outs, and census fluctuations.
• Support admissions, routine visits, continuous care, inpatient care, and on-call services.
