Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Float Pool Hospice Nurse to deliver compassionate end-of-life care across home, facility, and inpatient settings. You will manage symptoms, educate families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Travel throughout the service area is required, with mileage reimbursement provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years
• RN required with current licensure

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of patient and family and documents findings
• Plans care based on assessment and develops short/long-term goals
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment while respecting patient autonomy and diversity
• Evaluates plan of care and revises with input from patient, family, and health team
• Administers medications and treatments safely and monitors effects
• Mentors staff and shares knowledge to support continuous improvement
