Tidewell Hospice in southwest Florida is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide to provide patient care in the Manatee/Sarasota counties. You will assist with basic personal care, vital signs, and daily living tasks under nurse supervision.

The role requires Florida State CNA certification and current CPR, with one year of hospice or home health experience preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8a-5p with competitive benefits and PTO.

Formación

• Requires Florida State CNA certification.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• One year of hospice/home health/acute-care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide overall patient care including basic personal care and vital signs.
• Educate patient and caregiver about personal care, positioning, and daily living.
• Support and uphold Empath Health's mission, vision and values.
• Perform only activities contained in the Hospice Aide Plan of Care written by a nurse or supervisor.
• Recognize and report unusual conditions or behavior to the patient\'s nurse.
• Maintain confidentiality in patient/family care at all times.
• Work within the Hospice Aide role and scope of practice.
