Gentiva Hospice in Montgomery, AL seeks an RN Hospice Executive Director to lead a mid-sized hospice location. The role focuses on strategic leadership, operations, and delivering patient-centered care with an emphasis on compassion and integrity.

Ideal candidates are licensed RNs with management experience in hospice or clinical operations, and a track record of quality program development and regulatory compliance. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with minimum of associate’s degree in nursing required.
• BSN preferred; Master’s degree in business, nursing or related field preferred.
• Minimum one year management/supervisory experience required.
• Two or more years’ hospice/home care experience required if also functioning as Clinical Nursing Supervisor.
• Meets state requirements for Administrator role where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for a mid-sized hospice location.
• Direct interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Manage financial performance, budgeting and resource planning.
• Oversee human resources, contracts and vendor relationships.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and continuous quality improvement.
