Affinity Hospice Holdings, LLC is seeking an Executive Director to lead the overall direction of hospice services in the Birmingham area, overseeing the employment of qualified personnel and ensuring care standards comply with federal and state regulations. The role establishes goals that promote quality and align with the organization’s philosophy.

The position requires strong leadership, budgeting, and compliance expertise, plus the ability to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and deliver

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hospice management experience.
• Registered Nurse strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hospice federal and state guidelines as well as Medicare/Medicaid payor requirements.
• Ability to supervise, direct, and motivate professional and administrative personnel.

Responsibilities

• Participates in operational planning and budgeting.
• Ensures care is in accordance with Medicare, Medicaid, ACHC, Federal and State guidelines.
• Maintains standards of ethical business and clinical practice.
• Oversees and participates in Administrator on-call rotation.
• Monitors progress toward achieving operational and strategic goals.
• Ensures compliance with the organization's performance improvement program.
• Directs staff in admissions, discharges, transfers, and provision of service to patients.
