Job summary

The Hire Mark is seeking an experienced Hospice Executive Director to lead operations in Chicopee, Massachusetts. This hands-on role oversees clinical and administrative functions, regulatory compliance, staffing, and financial performance to drive quality patient care.

You will guide census development, partnerships with hospitals and physicians, and strategic growth initiatives while cultivating a patient-focused culture. Bachelor’s degree and hospice leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior hospice leadership experience required.
• Executive/administrator-level experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hospice regulations and Medicare standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for hospice operations.
• Oversee clinical, administrative, and financial performance.
• Ensure CMS/Medicare/state compliance and accreditation readiness.
• Lead department leaders and ensure staffing adequacy.
• Monitor census, admissions, budgeting, and KPIs.
• Develop strategies for census growth and referrals.
• Maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, and facilities.
• Oversee quality improvement initiatives and patient care standards.
