Job summary

Adoration Hospice is seeking an Executive Director for the Independence/Ashtabula market. This full‑time role oversees operations, budgeting, and staff development to deliver compassionate hospice care to patients and families.

The ED leads interdisciplinary teams, drives performance, and builds strong community partnerships. The position requires a Bachelor's in Business Administration (Master's preferred) and 2–5 years in health care management, with Medicare Hospice knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Master’s Degree in health care or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years experience in health care management.
• Ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
• Ability to deal tactfully with the community.
• Knowledge of corporate business management.
• Understands hospice care and interdisciplinary patient/family support.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations: budgeting, planning, staffing, and compliance.
• Promote ethical, compassionate, comprehensive patient care.
• Support and develop staff through training, supervision and development.
• Foster team-based care across nurses, physicians, social workers, chaplains, and others.
• Drive organizational excellence by monitoring services, finances, and patient outcomes.
• Build strong partnerships with departments, vendors, and leadership for seamless service delivery.
