Job summary

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience in hospital or industrial settings preferred.
• Ability to read and write to understand directions, warnings and logs.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with patients, visitors and staff.
• Strong attention to detail for a majority of the workday.”

Responsibilities

• Follow the work schedule and complete daily/weekly tasks to meet department cleanliness standards.
• Clean and restock supplies in patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas; manage time efficiently.
• Move equipment to storage areas and assist with organization of rooms.
• Spot wash walls or carpets and dust vents to keep areas spotless.
• Polish stainless steel and other surfaces according to the schedule.
• Maintain equipment, report unsafe conditions, and keep supply closets organized.
