Qualifications

• Cleaning experience in a hospital or industrial setting.
• Ability to read and write to understand directions and postings.
• Interpersonal skills to be pleasant and courteous with patients and staff.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail for a majority of the workday.

Responsibilities

• Follows work schedule and performs daily/weekly tasks to department standards.
• Provides cleaning and restocks supplies in patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Cleans floors and moves equipment as needed.
• Dusts surfaces and keeps vents dust-free.
• Empties trash at shift start and end.
• Spot washes walls or carpets as needed.
• Polishes stainless steel and other surfaces as scheduled.
• Maintains and notifies supervisor of equipment issues or unsafe conditions.
• Keeps par levels and organized carts and closets.
• Attends in-services and department meetings.
