Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Housekeeping Services Associate to join the patient care team for 40 hours weekly, evenings, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness per the 7 Step Cleaning Process, restocking supplies, disinfecting areas, and safely handling chemicals. Candidates should have a high school diploma and be able to read, write, and understand English; vaccination against influenza is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean patient care areas, common areas, bathrooms and corridors following the 7 Step Cleaning Process.
• Maintain cleanliness and neat appearance of assigned areas within time standards.
• Restock soap, towels, and toilet paper daily.
• Comply with Hazcom program; manage trash and soiled linen per policy.
• Disinfect isolation/precaution areas per procedures.
• Follow safe use of chemicals and equipment; keep closets and carts stocked.
